For numerous young girls, the weight of societal expectations can be overwhelming as they try to carve out their identities and determine their futures, often feeling the pressure to marry and become mothers by a certain age. This reality can be particularly harsh for those who find themselves beyond the "acceptable" age for starting a family. Such pressures can ignite a strong desire for marriage and companionship, sometimes even before they are truly ready for that commitment. This community mentorship was created to name those tensions honestly and create space for women to examine who they are before deciding who they are becoming alongside.
The Tension Many Women Carry
Think about your own life—when did the thought of marriage first cross your mind? Was it inspired by childhood fairy tales or perhaps by watching friends settle down, leaving you with a sense of longing? Or maybe you’re thriving in your own life yet still feel that something is missing. Understanding oneself is crucial in all types of relationships. Everyone seeks lasting connections—be it friendships, marriages, or family—but often, people find themselves stuck in negative cycles that seem impossible to escape.
Why This Mentorship Was Different
Out of all the workshops and mentorship programs I’ve experienced, this one was uniquely impactful. It brought together women from diverse backgrounds, all eager to challenge the traditional narratives we grew up with. Our discussions were raw and honest, leading to undeniable transformations, even if they were challenging. This journey was not just about changing negative stories but about shifting our perspectives and embracing accountability, which ultimately fostered a desire for self-identity, deeper faith, and healthier relationships with ourselves before seeking connections with others.
What Changed
This mentorship allowed women who felt small, unheard, or unloved to begin shifting how they saw themselves. They gained language around identity, built clarity, and learned to move forward with honesty—realizing that showing up fully was not optional, but necessary. As the weight of responsibility shifted, they became rooted in self-awareness, deeper faith, healthier relational patterns, and a renewed capacity to love themselves.
Below are reflections from women who participated in this work, shared in their own words.

Before joining Cola’s mentorship program, I carried deep trauma, pain, abandonment issues, and a lack of self-love, things I never thought I would have to face or talk about. This program gave me the courage to confront and release everything I had buried inside. She was patient, encouraging, and supportive throughout the entire process. The journey was emotional and challenging, but it led to deep healing, and I am so much better for it. I walked away as a completely transformed person. I feel free, stronger, and more empowered than ever before.

Transformational Safe Space
Participating in this mentorship program was truly life-changing. It provided a safe space where I could be honest about my struggles with mental health, abandonment, rejection, grief, and even my identity in Christ and so much more. Each session was filled with wisdom, compassion, and practical guidance that helped me navigate these deeply personal challenges.
As someone who has always struggled with vulnerability, I often found myself bottling up emotions instead of confronting them. I’m naturally very emotional, yet I avoided processing my feelings out of fear of being overwhelmed. Through this mentorship, I learned how to build emotional intelligence—how to understand, express, and manage my emotions in a way that brings healing rather than avoidance. I now have the tools to navigate difficult emotions with wisdom instead of letting them control me.
One of the biggest breakthroughs for me was learning how to overcome overthinking. I was given practical strategies to break free from negative thought patterns and replace them with God’s truth. In just a couple of months, my relationship with God deepened in ways I never imagined. I experienced incredible spiritual growth, received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and was even able to speak in tongues—something I had longed for but never thought possible.
Throughout this journey, I also gained discernment and became more sensitive to God’s voice. He began speaking to me in ways I hadn’t noticed before—through dreams, through moments when we would prophesy over one another, and even through the weekly topics in the mentorship. Funny enough, each time we entered a new week with a new discussion, it somehow always aligned with a struggle or situation I was facing in that exact moment. It was as if God had already gone ahead, preparing the wisdom and revelation I needed before I even knew to ask for it. These moments reminded me of how deeply personal and intentional He is with each of us.
What made this journey even more beautiful was being able to walk through it alongside other women. The level of vulnerability we shared with one another was deeply comforting. It reminded me that I wasn’t alone—other women had been in my shoes, understood my struggles, and were also fighting for healing and growth. Knowing that we could encourage and uplift each other made the experience even more powerful.
I also cannot express enough gratitude for our mentors. Their selflessness, patience, and unwavering commitment to pouring into us was truly humbling. They walked with us, prayed for us, challenged us, and reminded us of who we are in Christ. Their love and dedication were a reflection of God’s heart, and I am forever grateful for the wisdom and support they so freely gave.
Through this journey, I’ve also learned to see myself through God’s eyes—loved, chosen, and whole. The mentorship gave me invaluable tools to manage my finances better, teaching me how to be a better steward of what I’ve been given. Most importantly, it reminded me that I am never alone.
This program has been a blessing beyond words, offering healing, growth, and renewed purpose. If you’re looking for a mentorship experience that transforms not just what you do but who you are, I highly recommend it!! -Carlyne

Thoughts on the C.O.L.A Book?
It was beautifully written. It was raw and from the heart and drew the reader in. One could connect to what was being said and it was nice to know that I could relate with the author on some topics.

Valuable Lesson Learned
Thanks to Nicola’s program, I’ve learned the importance of vulnerability. I used to see it as a sign of weakness and often feared it—but I’ve come to understand that true strength lies in acknowledging the parts of ourselves that need the most healing. It’s been incredibly helpful.
